# Quickstart

This guide will help you run your first shadow report in just a few minutes.
You'll install the Discord bot and see your community's coverage.

This guide assumes you have **Manage Server** on your Discord. Want to see it
before installing? [Browse the dashboard](https://freeside.0xhoneyjar.xyz).

### Install the bot

Click **Add to Discord** on the [install page](https://freeside.0xhoneyjar.xyz/install)
and approve. Freeside never asks for **Manage Roles**.

### Get your first report

Freeside posts your first coverage report in **#freeside-config** within a
minute. Nothing to configure.

### Grow coverage

Post the **verify panel** from your dashboard's Bot page. Have a wallet CSV or
Matrica export? Import it there for instant coverage.

### Create a cohort

On **Cohorts**, click **New cohort** and set a condition - e.g. holds 10+ of
your token.

### Grant it a role

Open the cohort's **⋯ → Grants** and pick an existing Discord role. The next
report starts auditing it.

### Connect Telegram (optional)

Run `/setup telegram_link:True` in Discord, then `/connect` in your Telegram
group.
